Engine 88

Engine 88 was built by Pierce Manufacturing in 2016.  It serves as the district’s primary attack engine, and can carry a crew of five firefighters. This apparatus carries 1000 gallons of water, has a 1250 gpm Hale pump and is powered by a Cummins ISB engine with an Allison automatic transmission. Engine 88 is equipped with BLS (Basic Life Support) aid supplies, chain saw, generator, scene lighting, and electric fans. Specialized equipment on Engine 88 include a Hurst tool (Jaws of Life) with hydraulic spreaders, rams, and cutters, TIC (Thermal Imaging Camera) as well as a floto pump which can be used to extract water from any body of water for firefighting.
