  • Campfires now allowed - September 3, 2016
    Due to the recent wet weather, backyard campfires are again allowed.  Following the restrictions on size and location of course.

  • BURN BAN in EFFECT - August 17, 2016
    Effective immediately there is a Burn Ban within all  of King County Fire Protection District #47. Reminder: when the BURN BAN is lifted, probably in October, a Burning Permit is still required for any fire larger than the 3 feet in diameter mentioned above. See the Outdoor Burning tab for more information on obtaining a Burn Permit. UPDATE: 8/24/2016.  Due to extreme fire danger the Burn Ban will extend to recreational campfires also.  Several fires have been started recently by campfires...

  • New website now live! - May 1, 2016
